How to Become a Research Participant
To enroll in an Equilib research study participants must:
Complete a Personal Information Summary - information collected accesses any medical and/or treatment history that helps establish the "baseline" data, or starting point for the research study.
We ask that the individual comply with all research requirements as per the physician and Research Assistant instructions for a minimum of three months.

Doctor Participation
All research participants are required to be under the care of a practicing physician. This is especially important if the person has been on, or is currently taking, any form of psychotropic drug. Evince has a list of doctors who actively support the Equilib open-label studies. Please call toll free at 1-800-361-1370 for a list of participating physicians who may be able to supervise your program. An Evince representative will help you find an appropriately educated doctor to work with you.

Research Follow-Up/Compliance
In order to compile valid research data it is critical the program be strictly followed as per the Nutrient Protocol. To make it easy for you to comply, the Nutrient Program has the following support network:
Doctor - You should have regular visitations with your doctor who will review your symptom tracking reports and suggest adjustments to your program if needed.
Research Assistant - A Research Assistant will be assigned to each participant to answer any questions and to follow-up with the participant and their physician on a regular basis.
Research Support Group - The Research Support Group is an educational and support resource designed to help families understand and deal with mental distress. Researchers and medical professionals can answer questions for you. You can also meet with others who have encountered and overcome the same problem you are experiencing. In an emergency, contact your doctor or local medical facility.
These three resources will work with you and your family to aid your compliance and keep you on the path of mental and emotional health.
